Acceptance
When registering for the event, by clicking “Accept and Register” delegates agree that they have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions below, and acknowledge that the accuracy, credibility, validity and reliability of any information, document, recommendation, opinion, statement or otherwise contained in the RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting has not been verified by RANZCOG. They agree to consider their own circumstances and that RANZCOG encourages delegates to consider or seek professional advice on the matters in this Agreement and information/materials contained in sessions at the RANZCOG Annual Scientific Meeting. RANZCOG is not responsible for any outcome or result arising whatsoever from the information provided.
Delegates agree to comply with the requirements of the RANZCOG Privacy Policy and these Terms and Conditions with respect to information obtained from the RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting.
Attendance & Participation
Attendance at and participation in the RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting is for educational purposes, and that, whilst delegates are welcome to provide comments, feedback, and other contribution, they must do so in good faith.
Attendance and access to RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting materials is subject to RANZCOG’s confirmation of registration upon receipt of payment.
If the RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting is unable to run in a face-to-face format due to circumstances outside RANZCOG’s control, the event will run at a later date when the event can be facilitated, and you will be duly notified. If you do not wish to proceed with attendance on the new date, you can request a full refund.
COVID-19 in Person Annual Scientific Meeting Attendance Advice
RANZCOG will work closely with the venue to ensure that social distancing can be maintained, and facilities and equipment have been properly sanitised. Attendance numbers will strictly adhere to any Western Australia Government state guidelines, including if any guidelines or laws are imposed closer to the time of the Annual Scientific Meeting. In line with government advice, we request people that are unwell with cough or fever, or other respiratory symptoms do not attend the event. We also ask that you follow government advice, where practicable keep some distance from other people or social group. Participants are welcome to wear a face mask particularly if participants are at risk of severe illness from COVID-19 and/or the incidence of COVID is moderate or high.
RANZCOG will continue to closely monitor government advice regarding public gatherings and will follow all relevant health advice from the Australian government in relation to COVID-19.
Annual Scientific Meeting Registration Inclusions
RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting Registration includes:
- In person attendance at RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting, at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre
- Exhibition admission
- Annual Scientific Meeting Digital Handbook/Meeting App
- Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea
Workshop Registration includes:
- In person attendance at Workshop
- Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea (this may vary depending on duration of finalised workshop program)
Payment
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Payment must accompany your registration. RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting registration cannot be confirmed until payment is received. RANZCOG will not be liable to compensate for exchange rate fluctuations.

MasterCard and Visa are accepted.
Cheque & EFT Payments
Payment by Cheque or EFT is not accepted.
Cancellation Charges applicable for Annual Scientific Meeting and Workshops
Registration cancellations will not be accepted unless made in writing to the RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting Secretariat at asm@ranzcog.edu.au

Where there are extenuating circumstances, a full refund of the registration fee may be considered by and at the discretion of RANZCOG by emailing the RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting Secretariat at asm@ranzcog.edu.au
Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance. All participants are advised to procure their own insurance to cover all risks including (but not limited to) costs of registration and ticket fees, personal property, health and medical expenses, injury, death, any travel and accommodation, and all other risks. RANZCOG will not be held liable for any claims under any circumstances.
The Participant acknowledges if they choose to attend the RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting this is at their own discretion, and they are responsible for seeking advice on refunds or cancellations prior to booking travel and accommodation should any State or Territory Government enforced restrictions be announced.
In addition, the participant acknowledges they are personally liable to follow and comply with any advice and mandatory quarantine requirements set by the Western Australia Government or their home State/Territory Government, prior to, or at the time of the event, or after the conclusion of the event, at their own expense.

Annual Scientific Meeting Content
The information shared by presenters in the RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting is the opinion of the presenter alone, and RANZCOG does not endorse, nor verify the accuracy, credibility, validity, and reliability of any RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting material.
Delegates will assess the suitability of the Annual Scientific Meeting for their own personal educational purposes, and that the use of or reliance on the Annual Scientific Meeting materials is at their own risk. RANZCOG will not be responsible for any use of or reliance on the RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting materials.
RANZCOG reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the program (including activities, topics, timings and presenters) where necessary.
Sponsorship & Trade Exhibition – In Person Delegates
The RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting is a sponsored event, and the trade exhibition is an integral component of the RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting. This component provides delegates with the opportunity to meet with trade representatives from the leading companies that provide products and services to the fields of obstetrics and gynaecology and find out about the latest developments and trends designed to assist practitioners.
To acknowledge the importance of the trade exhibition, the RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting program has been structured to ensure delegates have ample time to visit the trade exhibition space and network with sponsors and exhibitors relevant to women’s health in both the exhibition space and other appropriate opportunities during the event.
Code of Conduct
By agreeing to the event’s Terms and Conditions, delegates are expected to behave in a professional and appropriate manner consistent with the RANZCOG Code of Conduct.
Allocation of CPD hours
Please note that registered delegates will receive CPD hours for RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting attendance. Delegates will receive a certificate of attendance post event and will be required to self-claim. CPD hour allocations will be published in the RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting delegate handbook/meeting app and on the RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting website.
Copyright & Intellectual Property
The owner of the RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting material grants me a revocable licence to use the material for their own personal educational purposes. Delegates agree that they must not use or commercialise the RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting material for their own commercial gain.
By submitting a request to register, delegates will comply with RANZCOG’s policies and requirements relating to intellectual property rights.
Consent & Confidentiality
Delegates will not disclose RANZCOG’s confidential information without prior written consent.
RANZCOG may collect personal information for the administration of the RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting, for security, legal, future marketing, and promotional purposes, in accordance with its privacy policy.
RANZCOG agrees that it will not disclose your confidential information without your prior written consent, except where required to facilitate the RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting or where required by law.
In General
Unless required by an applicable law, RANZCOG will not be responsible for any direct or indirect costs or losses incurred in any circumstances.
To the extent permitted by law, any statutory or other warranty, condition, description, or recourse, express or implied as to the RANZCOG 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting is expressly excluded by RANZCOG.

In these Terms and Conditions:
Confidential Information of a party means any information, including Personal Information, which is notified to be confidential, or which is confident by nature.
Information means any information, document, recommendation, opinion, statement or otherwise published, commented, posted, or otherwise made available in the RANZCOG Annual Scientific Meeting.
Intellectual Property means information, trademarks, patents, designs, circuit layouts, copyrights, know-how and all other rights.
Personal Information means personal, sensitive or health information of or about an individual within the meaning of Privacy Act.
Annual Scientific Meeting means any event, course, workshop, conference, meeting, presentation, exhibition or information session conducted at the RANZCOG 2023 ASM.
