Embark on a journey through pelvic anatomy with our dynamic workshop. Dive into both theory and hands-on practice as you explore the intricacies of pelvic support structures and their clinical significance.
Presented by the Urogynaecology Society of Australia, this interactive session will see participants teaming up to craft a detailed pelvis using clay and assorted materials, starting with the foundational bony structure. You will be supported by UGSA Faculty, Lucy Bates, Bernadette Brown, Fiona Bach and Oliver Daly. Together, you’ll pinpoint key landmarks, identify obstetric dimensions, and clinical correlations. Delve deeper as you construct ligamentous connections, muscle groups, pelvic organs, and nerves, gradually forming a comprehensive depiction of the pelvis.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have not only a tangible representation but also a newfound ability to visualise the pelvis from multiple perspectives, furthering your understanding and enhancing your clinical skills.
