ASM Add-Ons
This year at the ASM we have a number of activities happening outside of the Scientific Program. Dive into the offerings:
Exhibition Game
Delegates can embark on a fun journey, accumulating points as they explore our informative and highly valued exhibition booths. By interacting with our on-site representatives and scanning their unique QR codes, you will earn points for each booth visit and have the opportunity to WIN BIG!!

Early Bird Registration Instructions
- Register Early: Ensure you register before the early bird deadline.
- Receive Bonus Points: By registering early, you’ll be entered into the draw to win 20 points towards the leaderboard for the prize draw.
- Participate in the QR Code Challenge: After registering, don’t forget to scan all QR codes for additional points at the ASM!
- There will be QR Codes Hiding: Can you find bonus QR Codes? Could they be on a Static Poster, On the apron of a Barista or Waiter at a Social Function? It’s anyone’s guess.
Good luck, and make sure to register early as you could be a lucky winner! Prizes include Antler Luggage, iRobot Roomba and Free Registration to next year’s ASM.
The competition will be open onsite on Monday and Tuesday of the ASM and closes at midnight Tuesday 15 October. Winners will be announced in the Interactive Zone on Wednesday 16 October at Morning Tea.
Breakfast Masterclasses
Start your day right with Breakfast Masterclasses on the Tuesday and Wednesday. Who doesn’t love a free breakfast with some learning and CPD hours thrown in? More details will be available soon.

Interactive Zone
The Interactive Zone is your chance to hear the latest and freshest contributions to research in the world of O&G. Speakers have just three minutes to pitch their discoveries to the audience, throughout the catering breaks on Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 October. Catch the Three Minute Thesis presentations at the Interactive Zone, located in the Rongomātāne Foyer on Level One. The prize for best Three Minute Thesis will be announced at the Interactive Zone on Wednesday 16 October!
Professional Portraits Zone
Need a professional headshot but don’t have the time of funds to make this a priority? We’ve got you covered. Visit the Professional Portrait Zone in the Tāwhirimātea Foyer on level Two during the catering breaks on Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 October and have your photo taken by our professional photographers.
Static Posters and ePosters
Static Posters
Static Posters will be displayed in the Tāwhirimātea Foyer on Level Two. Make sure you go and have a read of the amazing research and audits that your colleagues have been looking into. If you want to see the authors in action, make sure you are in the Foyer on Monday 14 October in the lunch break to see the presentations and judging take place.
The prize for the best Static Poster will be awarded on Wednesday 16 October in the Closing session of the ASM.
ePosters
ePosters will be displayed electronically in the Tāwhirimātea Foyer on Level Two and delegates are encouraged to vote for their favourite e-Poster in the Meeting App. The winner of the Delegates Choice ePoster will be announced on Wednesday 16 October 2024 at the Interactive Zone during morning tea break.
Wellbeing Zone
Located on Level Two in the Tāwhirimātea Foyer, the Wellbeing Zone will be the space to re-centre and take some quiet time for yourself.
Recharge and Unwind
Enjoy fresh, revitalising juices from our juice cart and take a moment to relax in our bean bag area. Whether you need a quick pick-me-up or a place to de-stress, the Wellness Zone is your go-to spot for a refreshing break during the event. Also stop by and have a chat with our friendly team about the HOW program.
Daily Meditation
Start your day with a moment of mindfulness! We are hosting a daily morning meditation session before the ASM begins, located within the Wellness Zone. It’s a great way to centre yourself, reduce stress, and set a positive tone for the day.

RANZCOG Creche and Parents Room
The RANZCOG Creche will be located on Level 1 in Mokopuna Meeting Room 1B. Bookings are essential and can be made via the RANZCOG ASM Registration Portal.

Ages: 6 months – 5 years
Parents Room / Breastfeeding Room
A quiet space for parents, equipped with snacks, a microwave, a fridge and comfortable furniture. This space is located on Level 1, directly behind the RANZCOG Creche and has the same opening hours as the RANZCOG Creche.
