2025 Annual Scientific Meeting
Adelaide, South Australia: 18-22 OctoberFrom Conception to Curtain Call
In 2025, the RANZCOG Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) was held in Adelaide, South Australia. Under the theme “From Conception to Curtain Call,” the meeting explored the journey of women’s health across all stages of life, highlighting multidisciplinary care, research, education, and innovation.
Adelaide’s strong reputation for culture, creativity, and thought leadership provided an ideal setting for discussions that helped shape the future of women’s health.
New Fellows and Awards
The New Fellows & Awards Presentation Ceremony and Reception was held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, South Australia, on Sunday 19 October 2025.
95 New Fellows, 8 Subspecialists, and 3 New Associates were presented to the Fellowship during the Presentation Ceremony. They were joined by an additional 314 delegates and guests, including family and friends.
Free Communications, 3-Minute Thesis, Static Posters and ePosters
A total of 237 abstracts were received for consideration for Free Communication (oral presentation), 3-Minute Thesis (oral presentation), Static Poster or ePoster presentation. Abstracts were assessed by nominated members of the Organising Committee and the wider RANZCOG Fellowship against pre-defined assessment criteria, with authors notified of their inclusion on the program or otherwise in mid-July.
During the main program days, 126 ePosters were displayed electronically in the ePoster Presentation Zone, 17 abstracts were presented as Free Communications, 38 as Static Posters and 19 as 3-Minute Thesis.

Elizabeth Linder, for the abstract: Persistent High-Grade Cervical Dysplasia After Large Loop Excision of the Transformation Zone: A Comparison of Clear Versus Positive Margins.
Best Static Poster
Madeleine Prager, for the abstract: Birthing in the Algorithm: A Content Analysis of Homebirth Videos on the Social Media Platform TikTok.
