RANZCOG invites delegates to register for the following tailored live sessions, taking place prior to the Scientific Program, with enough time to allow participants to cool down, refresh and refocus before the 11am broadcast. Register via the ASM Registration Portal nowParticipants will receive Zoom details and passwords one week prior to the event and as a reminder on the day before.

Grounding Yoga Session
With Clinical Psychologist Jess Grunberg 
 
WHEN: Tuesday 16 February 2021, 10.00am – 10.30am AEDT
 
Join us for a standing and chair based yoga session to start your day on the right foot! Jess will guide attendees through a series of movements, emphasising the body and breath, and balancing the nervous system to encourage a sense of flow and calm. This session is appropriate for anyone to join and Jess will provide scaled poses for health concerns (e.g., lower back tightness). Jess draws on her knowledge and skill as a clinical psychologist and yoga teacher to emphasise the psychological aspects of yoga practice. 
 
 
Mindfulness Meditation Session

WHEN: Thursday 18 February 2021, 10.00am – 10.30am AEDT
 
Begin your day with a clear mind by joining us for a morning mindfulness session. Jess will guide attendees through breathing exercises and techniques to help calm the body and focus the mind. Meditation can change how you choose to relate to, react to, and view your experiences and interactions. This practice will include a small amount of movement and is open for everyone to join. 

About Jess Grunberg

Jess is a is a qualified yoga instructor and clinical psychologist specialising in perinatal mental health and women’s health. Jess values working with clients to build strong therapeutic relationships, supporting clients to manage their mental health issues and build stronger relationships. Jess is training in Trauma Sensitive Yoga and incorporates this into her practices. Her approach to both yoga and her clinical work is warm, empathic and collaborative.
